All filming projects must obtain required permits in coordination with FilmLA. Permit must be provided to Huron Substation in advance of booking.

All filming and commercial photography bookings require producer to provide General Liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, plus third party property damage covering the Property and Owner in the amount of at least $1,000,000.00. COI naming Huron Station 404, Inc. and its owner, employees, and contractors as additional insureds must be provided in advance of the booking.

Producer must also name Huron Station 404, Inc. and its owner, employees, and contractors as additional insureds under any Errors and Omissions insurance policy obtained by the producer in connection with the project.

Full refund of security deposit on cancellations until 30 days before the booking start time. 50% refund of security deposit for cancellations between 30 days and 7 days before the booking. Security deposit is non-refundable for cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the booking start time.

There is space for up to 6 cars in the gated backyard. For independent photographers and documentary filmmakers with crews under 15, there is ample neighborhood street parking.

Film crews must make parking arrangements in coordination with FilmLA.

With lead time, we can facilitate parking at the LA River Center & Gardens lot two blocks away.

Productions have also rented St. Ann Parish’s lot, a convenient 0.3 miles from location.

House power is available for photo shoots utilizing strobe lights. All filming, and photo shoots utilizing tungsten or HMI lighting are asked to supply their own power. House power is available for tools during prep and wrap.
